My 8 Years of Music Production.
"Be confident, don't doubt yourself."
I’ve shared my story about my unique hobby before about music production.
Honestly, I like my potential here. I like to make it happen while others start to doubt me.
Improvise. Concentration. Consistent. Abundance. That’s all.
Today’s story is a little bit short since I wanted to share my improvements throughout my 8 years of experience in music production.
Back in 2016 – I started making music and it wasn’t nice after all. I’m still a newbie; not knowing anything about plugins, sample packs, etc.
But I am grateful that I am a fast learner. I’m getting used to it after I found the right mentor to teach me. (Thanks Martin from UDEMY)
This was my first track after I’ve learned everything from the course:
(Before we move on, please subscribe to my channel there, it helps me motivate a lot.)
The first genre that I used since it became viral among producers out there.
In 2023, I heard so many kinds of genres. Pop, EDM, Rock, Trap, Hip-hop, etc.
The second was this one, which I can say was pretty good actually:
This song has a mixture of Rock and EDM genres. (Now commonly used in every song nowadays)
My mentor and my friends encouraged me to try new genres; a mixture of two different genres.
No cap. It sounds good to use two genres in a song.
Four months ago, I challenged myself to create an EDM track. The song, Seasons by Rival, Cadmium, and Harley Bird, was a reference track as I did this song:
(Reference track IS NOT THE SAME as plagiarized. It is a professionally produced song from another artist representative of how you want your music to sound like.)
Have you heard the song? Did you notice what is different between these three?
One confession, I smiled after I finally made that track. And even jumped around my room. (lol, joke)
I keep on producing more tracks this year related to EDM with some genres…

And if you’re asking…
“Hey! How can you do those amazing hits?”
“Be confident, don’t doubt yourself.”
“Your story awaits. Seize the pen. Write your masterpiece.”
