Don't. Ever. Take. A. Shortcut.

Every product has a value, FREE is only a trial.

Hello, readers, especially the hustlers and entrepreneurs.

Have you ever listened to or received an email from the clients, that looks something like this:

“I want a free course to help me grow/develop myself to become the one.”

And if you are a music producer who creates millions of samples and owns a plugin, you might hear people say:

“I want a free course to help me make music like a pro.”

It sounds irritating when these folks say “free” when they ask you.

There is no shortcut. Everything that you learn has processes and challenges, and it is a normal thing.

Entrepreneurs, producers, etc. – they spend their whole day and night creating a course for you and putting on the best price.

I know you’re broke.

“So, what should I do if I am broke.”

Easy. Go watch some tutorials on YouTube.

Having a course on another platform does not mean you will become a pro.

That is why YouTube was created. But still, you choose to go for courses on another platform that will make you pay a large amount of money, knowing that you are broke.

Will you improve after you pay for the course?

Some say yes, and some say no.

It was the same thing when you went to school, there is no shortcut to becoming an A+ student.

You must attend the class all day. Finish the schoolwork. Focus in class or you will get far behind. Sacrifice your nighttime to study and improve.

And don’t ask me why you never improved on your study. The answer is already there. (I don’t care about your grades, improving is just enough.)

This has a relation to psychology on why most people get attracted to the word “free”:

The word “free” is like a very powerful emotional trigger. Same thing when you set a price on your product, people will compare the price with the other one.

When these folks start to get tempted by it, and the other competition comes in with free products, they will become impulsive with decision-making.

This is why we always see most entrepreneurs announce their free course just for 3-5 days or if not, in a week, but with limited resources.

After that, they will set it back to its original price, with a discount or coupons.

It is like a pre-course to you, so that you can understand better about their other paid courses.

Without this pre-course, you will never know what is inside the course and this will lead you to doubt on yourself, whether it is worth it or not.

Sometimes, that one course is not what you are looking for and you lose all the money after choosing the wrong one.

The same thing to me when I learned how to use my digital audio workstation (DAW), FL Studio. I went to YouTube first to learn its very basic tutorial and went for a paid course to increase my understanding of using plugins, effects, and music theories.

Plus, I did this also when I first started learning about copywriting and I don’t know where to start or how to get the clients.

Things take time to improve and there is no shortcut.

Wise people always say this, “Invest in yourself first.”

Not everything we want in this world, we can be perfect at it, in other words, pro.

Sometimes, the perfect imperfections are always the good ones.

Learn like a baby, dream like a child, work like an adult.

“Your story awaits. Seize the pen. Write the masterpiece.”
